Pavla Quinn was born in the Czech Republic, where she studied art under the tutelage of celebrated artists Chlebovska and Kovar. Pavla also studied piano, drama, and the culinary arts during her developmental years. After receiving her degree in the culinary arts, Pavla entered an international competition and won first prize for creativity.

While living in East Germany where she was a Chef in her own restaurant, Pavla decided to fulfill a childhood dream by immigrating to Canada in 1997. Since coming to Canada, she has continued to refine her artistic skills by working with various local artists. During the past two years, Pavla and fellow artist Jack Koca have experimented with painting on a variety of textures and she has developed a unique expressionist style as a result.

Schools in Canada attended: International Academy of Design and the Toronto School of Art for independent artists.

Pavla has encompassed her keen interest in interior design, photography, and garden & landscape design into her artistic expressions.

Referred to as an “expressionist”, Pavla expresses from her inner-most feelings and allows her artistic creations to unfold in a manner that reflects what she wishes to achieve with her art.

“The creation of the Universe with its infinite possibilities inspires me to create art from the inner, and to share this inspiration with others in the hope that they may also feel the oneness with the Universe as I do”.
